A visit from an old friend from the Metropolitan Opera.

One of my violins came back for a visit to the shop and stayed a few days.  It was an opportunity to share memories of times gone by and what each of us has been up to.  We reflected on how each of us has changed, with some regrets as we are both showing the marks of the years gone by.  But we also both had a chance to reflect on the good things that age brings- beautiful memories, enriching experiences, growing in wisdom, age and grace.  It was a nice visit, not too long, and now we are back in our separate worlds again.

We believe that Music facilitates the healing of the Human Heart, that with laughter, beauty and    delight it can empower us to transcend and transform suffering

I count my blessings that I get to work with people like this every day.
